The Joomla Project is pleased to announce the immediate availability of Joomla 1.5.12 [Wojmamni Ama Woi]. This release contains a number of bug fixes and three moderate-level security fixes. It has been less than a month since Joomla 1.5.11was released on June 3, 2009.

This release marks an important milestone for the Joomla Project due to the upgrade of the PEAR library to the new BSD licensed version, which brings the codebase into full compliance with the GPL. In addition, this release contains an important upgrade to TinyMCE v 3.2.4.1.

The Production Working Group’s goal is to continue to provide regular, frequent updates to the Joomla community.

How to Insert Iframe Code in Joomla Module

Sometimes when you wanna use Iframe code (HTML) in joomla module. Joomla always removes your code which you just inserted. For example, this code…

But in Joomla! if you insert the iframe code directly: (see the picture below)

When you click update button. What happen!! The code’s suddenly removed!!! Nothing appear in Editor Space.

Don’t worry, That is not a problem. Joomla WYSIWYG Editor always remove some HTML code for security. (For more details read here – Joomla Filtering Options)

So, Is it possible to insert iframe code in Joomla?

Sure, Let’s see how to do it!

For inserting iframe code in joomla module, You have to choose new wrapper module instead of custom HTML module.

- Go to Admin Page => Extensions=>Modules Manager=> New and then Choose wrapper

- There are some parameters here:

- If you don’t know what to insert there, just look at your iframe code again:

- Insert the parameters by following your iframe code

• Module Class Suffix – Leave it blank (You can read more detail of module class suffix here)
• URL – Depend on your iframe code
• Scroll Bars – Depend on your iframe code
• Width – Depend on your iframe code
• Height – Depend on your iframe code
• Auto Height – Yes or No is no effect here
• Auto Add – Yes
• Target Name – Name of The Iframe – (More explanation of iframe name available here)

- After finishing insert the parameters save the module and publish it.

- The iframe module will show on your Joomla site!

With Modules Anywhere you can include a single module or complete module positions anywhere in your site, including inside 3rd party components and even inside other modules.

Why use Modules Anywhere, and not the plugin?

• It works anywhere, not only in articles. It even works in modules!
• You can load a single module, not only complete module positions.
• You can control the html display style from within the tag, not only one global setting.
• You have some security setting, so you can disable this feature for lower user types.
• It comes with a very easy to use editor button.

You can set Modules Anywhere to also handle the tags. In that case, you can safely disable the plugin all together.

Security settings

You can enable / disable Modules Anywhere in articles (and sections/categories), components and everwhere else (including modules) separately.

For articles, you can also set a minimum user group level. This means that Modules Anywhere only works in articles with an author that has your desired level or higher. You might not want your frontend authors to have the option to include modules (and potentially mess up your site).

HTML styles

Just like the core plugin, you can choose what kind of style you want to use for placing the modules in your content.
However, with Modules Anywhere you can override the default setting in the tag. So you can use different styles for each module you want to place.

Modules in Content

Modules Anywhere is based on Modules in Content. But Modules Anywhere is a lot more useful. Unlike Modules in Content, it also allows you to place modules in other places than only articles. And there are some more cool features!

If you use Modules in Content, you can replace it by Modules Anywhere!
That means, you must uninstall Modules in Content if you install Modules Anywhere.
